At Friway, our commitment to quality begins long before a product reaches the shelf. It starts with the ingredients we select, the standards we set for our suppliers, and the effort we put into developing products that we can proudly stand behind.

We are a small company, which allows us to work closely with our products and prioritize quality over volume. We place great emphasis on the quality, content, documentation, and composition of our raw materials. Each product undergoes a comprehensive process in which the ingredients, formulation, and labeling are carefully reviewed before it reaches our customers.

We believe that a good product is built on many well-considered decisions. That is why we sometimes choose a more challenging path, devote extra time to development, or reject solutions that do not meet the standards we set for our products.

As part of our commitment to openness and transparency, we also partner with The Good Pill Co™. Through their Certified Contents program, selected products undergo an independent review of their ingredients, documentation, and labeling. For us, this is yet another way to have our work reviewed by an independent party and to provide our customers with greater insight into the products’ ingredients and quality.

We conduct quality control at multiple levels. This encompasses everything from documentation and supplier audits to analyses and ongoing evaluation of raw materials and products. Our goal is to continuously develop and improve what we do, even when it means more work or longer lead times.

For us, quality isn’t just about what can be measured in a laboratory. As part of our product development work, we evaluate raw materials both individually and in combination with other ingredients. We place great importance on understanding the properties of the raw materials, how they interact with one another, and what role they play in the finished product.

This means that we often spend considerably more time evaluating and developing our products than is apparent from the label. Our goal is for every ingredient to be carefully selected and to serve a clear purpose within the overall formulation.

What is The Good Pill Co™?
The Good Pill Co™ is a Swedish certification body that works to promote greater transparency and quality in the dietary supplement industry. Through independent reviews of ingredients, documentation, and labeling, they help give consumers better insight into the products they choose.

The Certified Contents program verifies that the product contains what is stated on the label and that it meets established quality requirements. The certification is based on a review of documentation, labeling, and analyses, which may include, among other things, verification of ingredients, testing for heavy metals, and assessment of microbiological quality.

Why is independent certification necessary?
The dietary supplement market is growing rapidly, and consumers today are faced with a wide variety of products and claims. At the same time, several international studies have shown that the contents of certain products do not always match what is stated on the label.

Does the certification replace Friway’s own quality assurance efforts?
No. The certification complements our internal quality assurance efforts. We continue to work on raw material selection, documentation, product development, and quality control just as before, but with additional external audits for selected products.
